The Gai Waterhouse-trained four-year-old mare Dream Empress has now won three of her eight starts and recorded an easy first-up win here. She soon crossed to take the lead, travelled nicely in front and dashed well clear on straightening and she went on for score an effortless win by five lengths, sprinting home her final 600m in a smart 33.59.
