A close three-way finish to this two-year-old race. Abduction, resuming after her debut fourth at Kembla in March, did not show much early pace and settled last in the eight-horse field. She improved (wide) coming to the home turn but was still giving the leader about four lengths at the 200m. She then came with a good late turn to grab a last-stride win, ooking suited to further. She is a promising filly. Sebrina raced in third place on the rails. She switched into clear running on straightening, challenged at the 200m and fought on nicely for a close second, also looking suited to further. The favourite Thud went to the lead, looked the winner when she got a break at the 200m and was only overhauled nearing the post for a close-up third on debut. *ANZ
