Gai Waterhouse-trained Dynastic Lady looks the makings of a very promising staying filly. Stepping up here to 1600m at her third race start, she was smartly away and then settled nicely, racing without blinkers, outside the leader (Magicalease). She challenged approaching the home turn and after quite a battle, she scored a narrow but strong win, looking suited to further still. Magicalease, also going up in distance at her third start, went to the front and fought back particularly well for a very good second.
