Promising Les Bridge-trained mare Zonk, who has not finished further back than fourth in five starts, impressed with a smart first up win. She was smartly away, went straight to the front and then travelled well, despite some early pressure. She dashed clear at the 200m and went on to score easily. She looks set to progress to better things.
