Having her third race start and her second run this preparation, the Chris Waller-trained filly Toryjoy broke through for her first win, albeit in a photo finish. She began well and settled nicely outside the leader (Ballet Baby) but was under riding nearing the home turn. She kept responding, hit the front at the 50m and held on to score by a short half head. The Paul Cave-trained gelding Monsieur Sisu raced in fourth place to the home turn, got to third at the 100m before coming with a late bid for a close second in a promising debut.
