After placings at her first two starts, Team Snowden-trained colt Reinforced broke through for his first win here. He was second last in the small five-horse field behind the leading trio before moving up (wide) nearing the home turn. He quickly raced to the leader at the 100m and then battled well for a narrow but good win. David Paynetrained Chimboraa went to the front, was pressured in the early stages, retained the front at the home turn and fought back really well again when challenged in straight for a good second.
