Impulsive, a three-year-old filly from the Chris Waller stable, followed her debut third in a Kembla maiden (1300m) on 7 November with a good win here. She began well and soon drove through along the rails to lead. She got a break on straightening before going on to score comfortably. African Academy raced outside of the leader (Impulsive) and kept battling on quite well to hold second.
