Our Best Bet - Race 7 Number 8 Zipping Megatron @ 8.29pm N.S.W Fixed Odds $2.20

This son of Superior Panama is a future super star. The red brindle dog has won 6 of his 8 career starts including winning the rich Wentworth Park maiden final back in October last year collecting the $15,000 winners cheque and running a blistering 29.42 for the 520 metre journey.

Has to overcome box 8 the widest box he has drawn in his 8 start career having never drawn wider than box 4 at all 8 prior starts.

Ran a gallant 5th in the Bulli Gold Cup two starts back when giving away age and experience to more seasoned greyhounds. With half a space of luck he will be off and gone and the $2.20 is good value.

Our Best Each Way - Race 6 Number 4 Sin Rap Explode @8.06pm N.S.W Fixed Odds $5

The daughter of Flying Riciardo did not have the best of luck last start here at Wentworth Park and on two occasions had her momentum halted in particular in the run to the first turn when she appeared to nearly fall. She previously won two on end here in late February running a 42.20 personal best for the 720 metre journey.

The obvious threat will be the Charmaine Roberts trained Aston Costello who appeared in the Dubbo Country Classic over 600 however this is the dogs debut at Wentworth Park and track experience will count for something here and at $5 Sin Rap Explode appears very good each way value.

Our Best Roughie - Race 10 Number 5 Coin Counter @9.32pm N.SW. Fixed Odds $7

Has been in consistent form of late running three placings out of last four without winning. Fifth start back did win here over track and distance from same box in good 29.94 when in the market at $3.40.

Very good run to place second behind Froch last time at Richmond over the 520 metres in a Non Graded race and returns back here with a drop in grade to a moderate 5th grade race.

Consistent race bitch with 19 starts for 5 wins and another 8 minor placings and does possess fairly good box speed.

On the rest of the card flying machine Good Odds Cobber appears from box 1 in the Non Graded event. His early box speed should see him using box one to perfection and this should be a good tune up leading into the heats of the Golden Easter Egg.

Evergreen talented chaser Father Rick also appears in a masters event in Race 3 looking to add to his 8 wins at Wenty Park headquarters and his $285,000 in prize money. His form up and down the East Coast of Australia has been spectacular against the best middle distance dogs in Australia.

If you are gambling on Saturday night at Wentworth Park as always, please do so responsibly.Good luck and good punting.
