Winning Trainer: Kris Lees (Dom Sutton speaking)

Relationship with Lees' stable: "When we have runners that head to Queensland we go and stay with him and when he has runners down here they come and stay with us."

Keeping her in Melbourne: "She was unlucky a fortnight ago. Kris obviously wanted to keep her away from the wet tracks so he elected to keep her down here. She was accepted at Sandown on Wednesday but elected to scratch when the track came up heavy and decided to come here and it was the right decision."

Possible run in the final: "I'd have no idea, I've just been the yes man for Kris and done what he's asked. He's obviously a very good trainer and will map out a plan for her."

Winning Jockey: Blaike McDougall

Difference from last start: "She ended up in a similar position. We had room the other day but she just didn't appreciate being crowded inside of runners. Our main objective today was not only get the first half right but get the second half right, get her out in clear air. She was gritty, she deserved that win."

Her preparation: "Kris Lees and the team have placed her quite well to find the right type of track for her so credit to them. I daresay she's settled into the Melbourne lifestyle quite well."
