Winning Trainer: Chris Waller - no representative on-course
Winning Jockey: Daniel Stackhouse
On the win: "He's had some very nice runs up in Sydney and placed very well here by the team, stepping up to 2400.
"I just wanted to make sure he stepped well out of the barriers because he can fall out and get into an awkward position but today it worked out super.
"The speed was nice and I just wanted to give myself the option to get off that rail, I was lucky the Paddy Payne horse was struggling by that time and I was able to get off the fence and work into it and he was just too good in the end.
On just holding his spot: "I was just making sure I didn't get too close to the heels in front of me, so I didn't get stuck outside those runners but it seemed to work out really well. The horse is going super.
On whether he can string a few together: "His was very convincing in his win, he could have gone another lap and has pulled up very well, so they're very good at how they place their horses and I'll leave that up to them."
