Winning Trainer: Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott (Adrian speaking)

Thoughts on the win: "That was fantastic. Relieved there because the runs were coming strong there down out wide. He deserved it. He made all of the running and kicked well. The horse has come back so well this preparation and keeps improving. I am delighted for everyone involved.

Thoughts on So United: "They are later maturing, they excel once they get over a bit of a trip. His half brother we had here favourite for the Magic Millions 2YO race. I think that year Bluebloods came back and bought his half brother and here we are in the staying race."

Winning Jockey: Tim Clark

Thoughts on the win: "He was really brave. He came here off the back of a really good win and I think that win gave him good confidence coming in to today. He was really brave for me over the concluding stages when I needed him to dig deep. Them horses who were quite wide out on the track and were hard to line up. If feel if they had of come up closer to him then he would have responded better but thankfully he got his head out at the right time."

On the training performance: "Gai and Adrian, their timing with this horse for this race was spot on. It is great for the guys, there are a lot of people involved in him and to get a big win like this, it is great for the Blueblood team."

On the conditions: "I've had a week off up here and yeah, it's a hot day, but we'll battle through."
