The Victoria Handicap is Group 3 race for sprinters conducted by the Melbourne Racing Club usually at Caulfield.

The Victoria Handicap was first run in 1949 and was won by Ungar.

The Victoria Handicap has always been run over 1400m. It was run at Sandown in 2023 due to the Caulfield redevelopment.

The Victoria Handicap was a Principal race to 1979. It became a Group 3 after that.

Black Heart Bart won his first race for Darren Weir in the 2016 Victoria Handicap since arriving from Perth. He would win five G1s after that.

The race is a genuine 1400m horse's event with many on-pacers winning.

Showing his love of the Caulfield 1400m, Streets Of Avalon won this race in 2019 then also won the G3 Moonga Stakes in the Spring and the biggest of them the G1 Futurity Stakes in the Autumn.

The 2024 Victoria Handicap is over 1400m at Caulfield for $200,000.
