Testamezzo was a trapped a little wide early on before being able to work across to fourth one out one back. He travelled well into the race cornering three wide on the home turn before taking the lead inside the final 200m and proving too good to score by three quarters of a length. Young Knight was used up to lead on the rails. He enjoyed an easy time on the front end before quickening up the tempo at the 600m. He had a clear break in the straight and fought hard the whole way to the line tiring a little late on but a good effort all the same. *ANZ
