Promising colt Money Maher put up a solid effort in winning here at his third run this preparation, his second stakes success and his fourth win in 14 starts to date. He settled in sixth place, between runners, got through to fourth at the home turn, challenged nearing the 100m and then went on to score quite comfortably, running the 1800m out well. It was also a good ride by Jarrad Noske. He's A Parker went to the front, lifted the tempo and got a clear break approaching the home turn and then fought back well for second. Media Baron raced near the tail of the field, went deep on turning for home and ran on really well to take a really good third.
