Cosmic Cameo scored a good first-up win. He enjoyed a good trip behind the leader (Sweet Serendipity) to the home turn. He challenged passing the 200 metres, got to the front at the 100 metres and drew clear to score by almost two lengths. Zocalos travelled well in fifth spot on the rails to the turn, got a clear run on straightening and kept battling on to take second. *ANZ
