Smart filly Srikandi took her record to five wins and a second from six starts with an easy win here. She was quickly away from her good barrier (2) and eventually eased to race behind the leader (Lightfeet Lady). She moved up rounding the home turn, easily went to the front nearing the 200m and was eased down in the latter stages to win comfortably by two and a quarter lengths. Miniature raced in third place, one off the rails. She travelled up nicely around the home turn, went to second at the 200m and battled on well to hold that position to the post, having no chance with the winner. Pickabee raced in fifth place, one off the rails with cover. She was under pressure on straightening but kept battling on to take third, beaten three and a quarter lengths. She’s Clean settled seventh on the rails from her inside barrier and remained in that position until into the straight. She then ran on fairly well to finish fourth beaten just over four lengths. *ANZ
