Progressive Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly Pretty Fast is now the winner of all four runs this preparation, advancing quickly from her first up win in a 3YO fillies’ maiden (1200m) at Newcastle on 21 October to take out this Listed race in impressive fashion. She began well, was handily placed on the rails before improving on the inner to take a clear lead at the 600m. She turned for home, holding a big break and went on to win impressive by almost three lengths, and in smart time. Toby Edmonds-trained Winter Bride had a good trip and was fourth nearing the 600m. She was under riding on straightening and responded well over the closing stages to take second, without ever looking likely to trouble the winner. Dream Kisses raced in seventh place on the rails, got through to be fourth (under riding) at the 200m and kept fighting on to take the minor placing.
