Tasmanian-trained gelding Hellova Street took his consistent record to 14 wins from 32 starts in taking out his seventh stakes race here but first at Group level. He was quickly away, went straight to the front as expected and Brenton Avdulla then let him run along at a good tempo. He got a good break at the 400m before fighting back gamely to win well and it good time (1:22.40). Supply And Demand raced in third place on the rails, was under riding from the 300m and kept battling on really well for a good second. The consistent Fox Hall was stepping up in class but he had a good trip behind the leader and eventual winner before moving up rounding the home turn. He then kept fighting on well to take third in another honest effort while Ulmann was fourth to the home turn and battled on nicely under his top weight to hold that position to the post, beaten just over two and a half lengths.
