He’s The Boss is now unbeaten in two starts, following his debut win in a Sale Maiden (1400m) on 18 August with a very good win here. He settled back about ninth from an awkward barrier (9) before improving (wide out) from the 1000m. He moved up (three deep) at the home turn, challenged at the 100m and finished a bit too well for his older rivals to score well in a most promising effort. He looks to have a good future.
