Tony McEvoy-trained three-year-old Cobbmore looks promising, now being the winner of two of his four starts to date. He settled back in seventh place, one off the rails, behind a good tempo before improving (wide out) coming to the home turn. He then put in a strong run, took the lead nearing the post and then went on to score, appearing to do so with something in hand.
