The Gordon Yorke-trained three-year-old Cap Domingo has now raced twice for as many wins after scoring here on debut on 30 October. He settled in fourth place on the rails, got a nice run through at the 400m to be second on straightening but was then conceding the leader Crooked Blaze several lengths. He responded well from the 100m and impressed with his late-closing effort to score by three quarters of length, going away at the post.
