The Gary Moore-trained three-year-old Hostwin Vintage stepped up to 1600m at his third start to score his first win quite impressively. He settled nicely back in fourth place, one off the rails, before making an early move approaching the home turn. He dashed clear on straightening and then went on to win easily. He is a horse to watch.
