She settled nicely in third place behind a moderate tempo, moved up nearing the home turn but took a while to pick up in the sprint home before finished well in the closing stages to score by a short head. Irithea tracked the leader (Hussterical), challenged on straightening and then fought well for a close second. The favourite Zumbelina, a stablemate of the winner, was fifth early on, got along the inner coming to the home turn, took a split on straightening and then battled on well for a close up third, albeit after seeming to have had every chance. Organza ran on well out wide, coming from the tail of the seven-horse field for (0.8 lengths) fourth in a good effort after being disadvantaged by the steady early pace.
