The Bjorn Baker-trained mare Imposing Lass scored her second stakes victory in good style here and took her record to five wins from ten starts in doing so. She began well from her wide barrier (11) and soon crossed to settle nicely behind the leader (All In The Reflexs). She eased out three wide nearing the home turn, took the lead halfway down the straight and then went on to win comfortably. Queen Of Wands settled back in ninth place, fanned deep at the home turn and then ran on really well for a late-closing second. Sewreel, a stablemate of the winner, settled in fourth place, improved (under riding) along the inner on straightening and then kept battling on quite well to take the minor placing.
