The John O’Shea-trained filly Dublin Lass ($4.75) impressed winning well here at her second race start. James McDonald rode her aggressively to overcome her difficult barrier (14) and she soon crossed to take the lead. She then settled nicely in front, but showed her inexperience hanging out shortly after turning for home, drifting wide in the latter stages but still won with plenty in hand by a length and a half.
