She got an inside run to take the lead at the 300m and then kept fighting back for a narrow but good win. Elle Lou went to the front, eased wider (looking for better going) on straightening. Looked beaten when overtaken at the 300m but then fought back again for a good second. Top weight (59kg) Duccio raced outside the leader, was under pressure at the 300m but then battled back well to hold third. Francesco was fourth to the home turn but faded in the straight to finish last, racing well below his best form on the Heavy9 track.
