Le Pine Funerals (Bm78)
Desert Jeuney is now a winner of three of his only five starts. The Nigel Blackiston-trained four-year-old raced at the tail of the 14-horse field and was giving the leader at least 12 lengths at the 600m. He got a run between runners on straightening, improved to about eighth at the 300m, switched to the rails passing the 200m and showed a really good turn of foot, coming with a strong finish for a soft win at the post. He is a very promising stayer. *ANZ
