British-bred mare My Sanctuary followed her debut second at in a 3YO Maiden Handicap (1300m) at Bendigo on 22 July to win in good style here. She settled midfield (three wide with cover) from her difficult barrier (13) and tracked up well to be just behind the leading group on turning for home. She put in a good run to challenge at the 200m and finished too well to score a strong win. She looks a really promising staying mare and is a horse to watch.
