Srikandi has now raced four times for three wins and a second. She crossed to race outside the leader before going to the front nearing the home turn. She dashed clear approaching the 200m and fought back gamely to score by a long neck. She looks a very honest filly. Darney Gub was caught without cover from her barrier (12) being three deep outside the leaders most of the way to the turn. But she continued to battle on well in the straight after a difficult trip for a good second. Pilly’s Wish was quietly ridden from her barrier (10) and raced near the tail of the field to the turn. She put in a run in the centre of the track from the 300m and made good ground for a close-up third. *ANZ
