All Too Hard @ Vinery Mdn
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained three-year-old gelding Sebrarian was a good first up winner, his first win in six starts to date. He began well and soon drove through from his good barrier (3) to lead. He lifted the pace approaching the home turn, held a clear advantage on straightening and kept fighting back well under his light weight (51.5kg) to score well. The favourite Tivoli Street raced in third place (one off the rails), went to second (under riding) coming to the home turn and kept fighting on well for second, putting up a sound effort, conceding 7.5kg to the winner.
