Irish-bred import Tall Ship followed his second to Who Shot Thebarman in the Zipping Classic (Gr 2, 2400m) at Sandown on 14 November with a most impressive win here with top weight (60kg) in this Listed race. He settled well racing back in eighth place, one off the rails, behind a moderate pace before improving (wide with cover) approaching the 600m. He then sprinted quickly, hit the front rounding the home turn and raced away in the straight to score easily in a very good performance. Mujadale went to the front, set an average tempo, was headed at the home turn and battled back well for second, having no chance with the winner. Imperial Lass had a nice trip in third place on the rails, moved up at the home turn and then fought on in the straight to take the minor placing after appearing to have every chance.
