Skylight Glow followed her debut fifth at this in a similar race here on 27 April to score a narrow but good win here. She began well and worked a bit in the early stages from her wide barrier (10) before racing in third place, one of the rails. She moved up well nearing the home turn and after a battle, got to the front at the 50m and then fought back to score well. Invincibella was fourth, one out and one back. She put in a good run to challenge nearing the 100m and then kept running on well for a good second, going nicely at her first run this preparation and her second race start. The favourite Serena’s Pride had to work to find the lead, held the front to the 100m and then held on to take the minor placing after her early efforts.
