Three-year-old filly Viaductess is building a good record, now having raced eight times for three wins and three placings. She began well from her inside barrier (1) and settled in third place on the rails, travelling well. She got a split on straightening, took the lead at the 100m and then went on to win quite comfortably. Echo Queen settled in last place from her outside barrier (8) and remained there to the home turn. She got along the rails on turning for home and kept making good ground along the inner to take a good second. Pacific Pearl went to the front, held the lead until the 100m and then held on nicely for third.
