Three-year-old filly Catherine Louise has now raced twice for as many wins. The Darren Weir-trained filly settled in sixth place, three wide with cover. She went to the centre at the turn, got a split at the 200m and ran on well to win well by a length and a quarter. Tatler Belle was a handy fourth, one off the rails, switched wide at the turn but took a little while to wind up before steadily making ground for second. The favourite Maroon Bay showed good pace to lead, grabbed a break on turning for home and only tired over the closing stages for third. *ANZ
