Kwanza was smartly away, led early before easing to race in third place on the rails. He moved up coming to the turn, took the lead on turning for home and although tiring lasted to score quite well by half a length. Zadon was sixth, one off the rails before going to fourth approaching the home turn. He was under riding on turning for home and gradually kept making ground to take second, beaten half a length. *ANZ
