Exclusive Lass began well from her wide barrier (11) and went forward and settled in third place but trapped three deep outside the leading pair (Danestroem and Judicial Rock). She challenged strongly at the 200m and fought gamely for a narrow but very good win. Nautical settled midfield, between runners, and remained there until turning for home. She managed to angle into clear running at the 200m and then came with a good run to just miss, finishing a close second. Mossbeat was back about eighth, between runners but she was held up for clear running until passing the 200m. She then ran on well to take a good third.
