Aerobatics had a good run in fourth place one off the rails. She moved up well to challenge at the 300m, got to the front at the 100m and fought on gamely to win by a half neck. Arctic Flight led and steadied the pace and battled on well when challenged in the straight holding on for a good second. Pipette was third on the rails to the turn. She challenged at the 200m then battled on for third. Miss Stellabelle was eighth on the outer to the 600m and ran on quite well for fourth, beaten only a length. The favourite Dystopia was sixth to the turn and seemed to have every chance before finishing fifth, beaten a length and three quarters. *ANZ
