The Clarry Conners-trained kudero was smartly away and went straight to the lead. He was travelling well coming to the turn, grabbed a break passing the 200m for a good win. He is a nippy three-year-old. The Bjorn Baker-trained Encostanati was third on the rails to the turn, challenged at the 250m and then kept fighting on quite well for second.
