The Darley-raced colt Complacent travelled well in fourth place, one out and one back, before moving up three wide rounding the home turn. He took the lead at the 200m and then went on to record comfortable win. It was his first win after seconds at his first two starts. This consistent colt should continue to add to his record. The three-year-old Gerald Ryan-trained filly Grand Prix showed good pace from her wide barrier to share the lead to the turn. She then held on quite well in the straight for a good second, her third placing from only three starts. *ANZ
