A strong win to Divine Calling who was used up to race on the outside of the leader Lannister before asserting on the home turn and drawing away to a soft two length victory under 59kg. This was Divine Calling’s second win from six starts and his second up after a solid first up fifth in the H.D.F McNeil Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) two weeks ago, and it was Damien Oliver’s first metropolitan winner since returning from his suspension. *ANZ
