Sessions had a nice run from his good barrier (3) travelled well in sixth place on the rails. He got an inside run rounding the home turn and took a narrow lead passing the 200m. He then held on grimly to score by the narrowest of margins. Aeronautical was just past midfield, wide with cover. He moved up nicely nearing the turn, fanned wide on straightening and put in strong run to challenge at the 100m. He then fought gamely for a very close second. Spirit Of Boom was second last in the 12-horse field to the 600m. He went to the extreme outside at the 300m and ran on well late for a good third. Hidden Warrior led the field to the 200m and battled on for fourth while Decision Time raced in third place on the rails, got an inside run at the home turn and seemed to have every chance before finishing fifth beaten just over one and a half lengths. *ANZ
