The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly Faith’s Encore scored most impressively on debut. She drove through from her inside barrier (1) and settled nicely in third place on the rails before taking a split to challenge rounding the home turn. She went to the front on passing the 200m and was given an easy time over the final stages, appearing to score with plenty in hand. She looks a really smart filly. The Bjorn Baker-trained Omiya also went well on debut. After settling in fifth place on the rails, improved under riding on straightening and ran on in promising fashion to take second, looking suited to further.
