Most Important staged a strong effort in taking out his fourth stakes race and his ninth win (with nine placings) in 33 starts here. He began well from his wide barrier (12), settled in an ideal place, fifth and one off the rails, behind a good tempo (first 800m 46.85). He switched deeper rounding the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and then drew away under his top weight (59.5kg) to score quite impressively by almost four lengths. Bindii Babe raced in fourth place, on the rails, went to third at the 100m and then fought on nicely to take second. Weinholt raced in ninth place on the rails, got through on the inner at the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and then battled on well for third, just missing second in a photo.
